2015년 1월 3일부터 4일까지 강원도 철원에서 진행한 DMZ청소년 탐사대 연합의 동계캠프에 참가해서 청소년들이 생물다양성을 위한 정책토론을 하였다. 이해당사자들을 구별하여 토론한 결과 다음과 같이 청소년 선언문을 만들어서 발표한다.
DMZ생태청소년 2015겨울선언
주제 : 멸종위기동식물보호방안
이해당사자 모의국제회의 토론그룹
우리 청소년 탐사대는 1월 3일 철원 철새 마을에서 ‘생물다양성을 위한 정책’에 대한 토론을 마치고 다음과 같이 선언한다.
정부는,
A. 환경친화적인 소재 개발을 위한 생물학적 연구에의 지원을 확대한다.
B. 농민들과의 적극적인 협의 및 장려를 통하여 철새 도래의 근간이 되는 농경지의 관리방안을 마련한다.
C. 건설업체 선정시 환경친화적인 기법을 적용하는 업체에게 가산점을 준다.
D. 환경정책 수립시 현장에서 활동 중인 NGO단체 및 전문가와 긴밀한 협력 관계를 유지한다.
E. 국민들이 환경친화적인 생활방식을 습관화 할 수 있도록 탄소발자국과 같은 공익 정책의 참여를 유도한다.

NGO들은,
A. 정기적인 조사를 통하여 정부의 정책 수립 시 필요한 데이터베이스를 구축한다.
B. 국민들을 대상으로 한 생태교육 프로그램을 제작하고 활성화 방안을 마련한다.
C. 자체 조사를 통한 자료를 근거로 하여 생태계보전지역 내의 파괴에 대한 감시자의 역할을 충실히 이행한다.
D. 교육을 통하여 농민들에게 생물다양성의 필요성을 인지시킨다. <!--[endif]-->
생물학자들은,
A. 농업과 건축에 사용되는 환경친화적인소재의 지속적인 개발을 지향한다.
B. 멸종위기에 처한 동식물의 생활사를 밝혀내고 각 종의 특성에 맞는 복원 방법을 강구한다.
C. 어떠한 이해관계 하에서도 과학윤리에 위배되는 의사결정을 하지 않는다. <!--[endif]-->
농민들은,
A. 지역 농민들 간 협력 및 자체 브랜드화를 통해 환경친화적인 농법을 개발, 발전시켜 기존 농법을 적용한 상품들에 비견하는 경쟁력을 갖춘다.
B. 멸종위기동물들에게 위협을 가하지 않고 포획을 하지 않는다.
Declaration on Conservation of Biodiversity by the Youth DMZ Forum
We the Youth DMZ Forum write this declaration on January 3rd 2015 from the Cheolwon Cheolsae Village declare the following on the issue of conservation biodiversity:
The Government must:
a. Increase subsidies toward the development of environment-friendly construction materials
b. Meet a compromising medium with the agricultural labors to make efforts in preserving the habitat of the cheolsae.
c. Build partnerships with company with the greatest commitment to conserving biodiversity when constructing,
d. Sponsor and closely cooperate with NGOs to with practical vision when establishing environment policies,
e. Promote habituation of eco-friendly lifestyles through encouraging public participation in government campaigns, such as carbon footprint,
NGOs must:
a. Establish a nation-wide database through periodic researches in order to legitimize the making of policies,
b. Initiate an education program about conservation of diversity for students,
c. Prevent unrestrained development of biodiversity conservation zone through conducting periodic research on pertaining organisms in the area,
Biologists must:
a. Foster the use and development of green-technology used in irrigation and construction,
b.Investigate more into endangered animals and their biological processes in order to get a better understanding of possible conservation measures,
c.Not be swayed by any external pressure to make decisions which violate the conservation of biodiversity
Farmers must:
a. Promote eco-friendly agriculture methods, such as using minimum levels of pesticide, through cooperation between farmers and effective productizing of agricultural products,
b. Not jeopardize the security of or endanger any animals in the area.
