We the DMZ Youth explorers, witnessing current generation’s mistreating (abuse) of animal rights such as burying the victims alive to deal with foot-and-mouth disease, realized the animal rights also had to be respected.
It is hereby claimed that, to protect animal rights and dignity of animals,
Article 1
We acknowledge that human beings and animals harmonize (harmonize with animals) on the Earth together, and both should be respected.(and seek mutual respect)
Article 2
We acknowledge the fact that animals also have the right to pursue (their) happiness.
Article 3
All human-beings and animals seek mutual respect.
Article 4
Though animal rights are respected as basis, human rights could be prioritized when animals threaten human rights to survive.
Article 5
We care(treat) animals (each animal) according to (its own habitat) their different environment they live in.
1.Wild animals have rights to live their lives in their own environment (surroundings), nature.
2. Pet animals receive constant affection and protection from their owners.
3. Domesticated animals have rights to be protected as an existence itself. When it comes to killing those (slaughtering those/slaughter), human are obliged to render employ the least painful, the most immediate way.
4. Laboratory animals, possess the same rights as those of domesticated ones until being tested as an existence itself.
Article 6
We youths break from the former paradigm which prioritized human rights over animals’, and pursue a lifestyle which gets along with nature.
Article 7
We youths achieve the ultimate goal, protections of animal rights and dignity, by publicizing this declaration for all.
